Justin Bieber impersonator tricks his way into a Vegas nightclub and performs for stunned crowd
A man has been banned from a chain of hotels and resorts after convincing management at the XS Nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday that he was Justin Bieber - then taking the stage in the pop superstar's name. The impersonator was indefinitely banished from re-entering all of the Wynn properties, company officials told TMZ in a statement on Monday. They told the publication: 'As soon as the error was recognized, he was removed from the resort and denied future entry.' The unfortunate situation involving the doppelgänger of the two-time Grammy-winner, 31, unfolded in Sin City over the weekend. The impersonator and his collaborators reached out to people at the club with an 'elaborate and multi-step ruse' to convince them the impersonator was really Bieber. After the impersonator and his team successfully persuaded club management that the man really was the Canadian superstar, 'the impersonator was granted access to the XS stage,' officials said. They told club officials the Canadian pop star would be on hand - and was interested in getting involved in that night's show, according to DJ Gryffin, who worked at the XS Nightclub this past weekend. Gryffin had a sense of humor about the incident as he took to Instagram with a narrative of the strange series of events. The DJ, 37, conceded that even he was convinced that he was crossing paths with the Peaches vocalist. Gryffin welcomed the impersonator into his DJ booth at the trendy venue. Eventually, club staffers caught on to the ruse and ejected the impersonator from the property. Gryffin said that 'the place went wild' for who they thought was Justin Bieber, and expressed his own level of shock when he was informed of the elaborate prank. The incident also had fans on Reddit talking, with the prevailing sentiment that having slightest resemblance to a famous person can work wonders during one's trip to Sin City - a city renown for playing host to big name stars from all around the globe. 'I knew someone who went to Vegas once and EVERYONE thought he was James Blunt, so he pretended he was and got VIP treatment in a bunch of places,' one user said in reference to the You're Beautiful singer. Another user joked, 'Hahaha same thing happened with my friend and also in Vegas of all places lol. 'My buddy looked identical to Joaquin Phoenix during the 2009 Letterman phase where Phoenix had that beard, wild hair, and sunglasses. 'He even imitated him the whole time. Everyone thought it was actually Phoenix and it was so damn funny.' The user continued: 'We would walk through the hotel and people would be pointing and stuff thinking it was actually him. lol. Meanwhile, my friend was just hammered but loving the attention.' Bieber is wrapping summer on a strong note in the wake of the release of his latest album Swag; and a newfound solidarity in his marriage to wife Hailey, 28. The Peaches vocalist currently appears to be on much firmer ground with the supermodel, with whom he shares son Jack, who celebrates his first birthday August 22. While Hailey had been seen in public without her wedding ring in June, the couple appeared to be on affectionate terms when they were seen in Switzerland in July. This past May, reps for Bieber issued a clear denial that he had been abused by Sean ' Diddy ' Combs when he was younger. Bieber was among the guests in attendance at a raucous 2014 bash attended by Diddy, Cassie, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and a number of other celebs in shots Diddy posted and deleted more than a decade ago. On May 15, Bieber's team issued the following statement to TMZ amid Combs' ongoing criminal trial. 'Although Justin is not among Sean Combs' victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him,' a rep for the musical artist told the outlet May 15. 'Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.' Bieber sold rights to his catalog for $200 million in 2023, the Los Angeles Times reported. Bieber's most recent studio album prior to Swag was Justice in 2021. The album garnered critical acclaim and spawned successful commercial tracks such as Peaches, a Billboard Hot 200 chart-topper; and the top 10 hits Holy, Anyone and Ghost. Bieber in February of 2023 officially canceled the remainder of his Justice World Tour after the singer said he was diagnosed with the condition Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which can lead to facial paralysis. Bieber had previously had to cancel shows on the tour in the fall of 2022, explaining his absences from the stage in an emotional post on his Instagram Stories. 'Earlier this year, I went public with my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partially paralyzed,' he said. 'As a result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North American leg of the Justice Tour. He said that he suffered health woes after performing a set at the Rock in Rio festival. 'After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now,' he said. 'So I'm going to take a break from touring for the time being. I'm going to be OK, but I need time to rest and get better. 'I've been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately!'

Justin Bieber Impersonator Wows Vegas Crowd Before Getting Busted
A Las Vegas crowd thought they were watching "Baby" hitmaker when a look-alike stormed the stage at XS Nightclub inside the Wynn Encore, only to learn later the star they cheered for was not the original. The Vegas impersonation adds to a history of Bieber doubles that have made headlines over the years, including a 2017 impersonator who used the singer's likeness to commit crimes. Justin Bieber's wife, Hailey Bieber, was caught off guard last year after spotting a viral TikTok of her husband's doppelgänger. Fake Justin Bieber Tricks Vegas Crowd With Nightclub Performance Las Vegas has seen its fair share of wild nights, but this one might take the cake. A Justin Bieber look-alike managed to fool hundreds of people, even convincing a nightclub to let him perform. Clips shared on the Instagram page 'raisedinvegas' show the imposter taking the stage at XS Nightclub inside the Wynn Encore, performing in front of a packed crowd who cheered him on as if he were the real thing. The fake Bieber did not stop there. After leaving the venue, he was spotted taking photos with fans, while others filmed him, still convinced they had just met the global superstar. The comments section lit up with reactions. "Someone said Temu Justin," one person joked. Another pointed out, "Like, why would Bieber be at the OUTLETS?" A third added, "HOW!? They look nothing alike." Others admitted the stunt was hilarious, with one fan writing, "It is the funniest sh-t. I was cracking up when i was watching the videos," while another noted, "He's even got the terrible posture down pat. I cannot." The Vegas Impersonation Could Lead To Firings And Lawsuits The wild stunt in Las Vegas is spiraling into something much bigger after Bieber's lookalike managed to fool crowds. A TikTok video breaking down the situation claims the fallout could be severe. The clip pointed out that people have already been fired over the incident, and more staff at the Wynn Encore's XS Nightclub may be on the chopping block. The poster went on to say that "lawsuits are going to happen" since people paid a significant amount of money for tables under the impression that Bieber himself would be performing. "Someone got fired today, and probably a lot more people are going to get fired," the user explained, adding that some guests dropped a lot of money expecting to see the superstar. The Wynn is reportedly frustrated after having to comp large amounts of money once it became clear the actual Bieber was never in the building. "A lot of people were falsely advertised that Justin Bieber was going to be there, so there was a lot of money spent on tables based off that," the video noted. One Of Bieber's Lookalikes Was Jailed For Exploiting Schoolgirls Online While the recent Las Vegas fiasco is making headlines for its chaos, this is not the first time a Bieber impersonator has caused severe damage. Back in 2017, the BBC reported that a man pretending to be Bieber online was sentenced to 15 years behind bars after using the father-of-one's likeness to target young girls. The offender, 30-year-old Yohann Ramchelawon, reportedly tricked victims by creating fake social media accounts and using a photo of a teenage boy to convince them he was the pop star. He then coerced them into sending indecent images, even threatening to expose them to friends and family if they did not comply. Some victims were forced into performing sex acts on webcam under pressure. Ramchelawon was tracked down at his Huddersfield home and arrested. After initially denying the charges, which included sexual assault and possession of child abuse material, he switched his plea to guilty during the trial. In addition to his 15-year sentence, Ramchelawon was given an extended five-year license period and placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely. Another Justin Bieber Lookalike, Toby Sheldon, Died Mysteriously Not all Bieber impersonator stories are funny or lighthearted. In 2015, the death of the dancer's lookalike, Toby Sheldon, left more questions than answers. PEOPLE reported that Sheldon, who had spent years undergoing plastic surgeries to resemble the pop star, was found dead in a Los Angeles motel on August 21, 2015. Officers discovered prescription drugs in the room, but no clear cause of death was determined at the time. Toxicology results were pending, and Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter explained there was no sign of foul play. "We are unsure if it is an accident or suicide. The investigation is ongoing," Winter shared, days after Sheldon's body was discovered. A German native, Sheldon became widely known for his extensive procedures, reportedly spending over $100,000 to look like Bieber. Hailey Bieber Was Shocked By A Viral TikTok Of Her Husband's Lookalike Even Hailey Bieber has not been immune to a convincing Bieber double. E! News reported that in September 2024, she was caught off guard after French TikToker Theo Sauss posted a video of a man on a commuter train who looked nearly identical to her husband. The clip, set to Justin's hit "Baby," showed the mystery passenger with the same mustache, tattoos, thin-framed glasses, and haircut as the pop star. Hailey's reaction said it all. Dropping into the comments, she admitted, "I'm scared…" Online chatter linked him to Dylan Descloss, a French Justin Bieber impersonator who runs a TikTok account dedicated to mimicking him.
